Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step when you sign in: after your password, you enter a six-digit code from an authenticator app on your phone. It's the single best way to protect your studio's data if your password is ever guessed or leaked.

Turn it on

1. Open Settings and find the Two-factor authentication card.
2. Click Set up two-factor. A QR code appears.
3. Scan it with an authenticator app — Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password or similar. (Can't scan? Enter the setup key shown beside the code by hand.)
4. Type the six-digit code the app shows and click Turn on.

That's it — 2FA is now on for your account.

Signing in afterwards

Next time you log in, after your email and password you'll be asked for the current six-digit code from your app. Enter it to continue.

Good to know

• 2FA is per person — each team member turns it on for their own login. Owners and admins are strongly encouraged to.
• Turning it on for your account doesn't affect anyone who hasn't set it up; nobody is locked out.
• To switch it off, open the same Two-factor authentication card and choose Turn off.
• Lost your phone or authenticator? Contact support so we can safely restore access.
